HB9CXZASSISTED HIGHUnfortunately my qth has become problematic for 160 meters, there is a constant noise across the entire band at S9. A mix of white noise and static. Even on small beverges the situation does not improve, the only usable antenna for reception is t With these conditions I'm still satisfied with the result, it was a lot of hard work. 73, Luis HB9CXZ

JA9FHBSINGLE-OP HIGHI enjoyed the contest.
JE1SPYSINGLE-OP LOWIt was the 5th CQ 160m contest since the 160m SSB was lifted in Japan. The Japanese SSB band has a width of only 30KHz from 1845 to 1875KHz. Please attention, JA stations can tranmit on 1848kHz low edge. In Europe and the United States, band plans are not laws and there are no penalties, but in Japan they are legal, so if we do not follow the band plan, we will be sentenced to imprisonment or a fine at worst. During the CQ160m contest, in Europe and the United States, the entire 160m band is almost filled with SSB, regardless of the band plan, regardless of the band plan. However, from Japan, only about half of these operating Western countries are in the Japanese SSB band, so it is not possible to call more than half of the stations. Western stations sometimes watch the Japanese SSB band (1848-1875KHz). My antenna is a Micro Vert it's length is only 4meters and 15meters high from ground. It has a only one radial which length a only 30meters length.

K4HQKSINGLE-OP LOWOnly spent 20 minutes in this contest owing to high line noise and a poor antenna (one leg of my 80m dipole). 73, John K4HQK Alexandria, VA
K5NZASSISTED HIGHBrutal!!!
K5RXSINGLE-OP HIGHI had not planned to operate more than two or three hours, but got hooked despite the rather poor conditions. Wound up on the air almost 11 hours. The poor conditions were partly offset by the low number of static crashes. Usually tte static crashes are horrible for at least one night of this contest. I had not worked SD and heard K0KX in SD calling and working If he ever called me, I did not hear him. I had given up on and 7. Heard no KH6 but thought I heard a KL call me, but could not dig him out.
K5VIPASSISTED HIGHMostly S&P with a few runs
K5XUSINGLE-OP LOWConditions were not very good.
K5ZDSINGLE-OP HIGHOnly a few hours each night at Eu sunrise. Conditions were very quiet and many strong Eu signals.

K8OZSINGLE-OP HIGHWorking with new matching network for my short, top-loaded (and bottom-loaded) vertical. Let's hope propagation will be good. I will miss about 1.5 hrs of prime time on Friday net because of prior obligations. After the contest: I only got in 3 hrs and 47 minutes of operating time - some while having a few brief chat sessions. My new matching circuit worked well, but conditions were pretty bad. Only worked one other DXCC entity. Need to improve my rece
K8RRASSISTED LOWApparently the sunspots played spoiler, as this was easily the worst propagation on a 160 meter contest that I experienced. Compounded with a high noise level at this Cincinnati location, this was the most difficult and lackluster operating event
