N0DLSINGLE-OP LOWInverted L with highest point at 36'.
N0JKSINGLE-OP LOWI was watching 6 Meters for the predicted CME impact Saturday. It turned out to be a "no show." But the quiet geomagnetic conditions were favorable for the CQ 160 CW contest. I had planned an antenna upgrade, but the winter storm a few weeks ago nixed that. So, the rain gutter was loaded up again to hand out a few contacts. Radio TS-850 about 50 watts. (antenna is rain gutter on side of house, about 20 feet high with a vertical portion about 20 feet. Fed at bottom against ground. ) People went into the log, northeast to Maine (K1LZ), northwest to Oregon (K7RAT) and in between. Thanks! ZF5T, a loud KP4AA and XE2X were the DX worked. HQ9Y was strong. Even copied JH4UYB. QRN seemed low. With the rain gutter antenna, heard a lot more than I could work.
N0LMQSINGLE-OP QRPUmbrella "bow tie" top loaded 15 foot vertical. Snow drifts prevented complete setup so the antenna was not 100% -- not even its normal limited capabilities
N1CGPSINGLE-OP LOW550 foot horizontal loop @ 40 feet.
N1NNSINGLE-OP LOW9TH CQ 160M CW CONTEST 90 FOOT END FED WIRE
N1OKLASSISTED LOWAntenna used is a 260 ft. center-fed doublet with 450 ohm ladder line feed at approximate 50 ft. AGL.
N1QYSINGLE-OP LOW160/80/40 trap dipole, 40ft at highest point
N1RRMULTI-OPThe EAST pattern of the 2L GP failed on Saturday, likely dropping us out of the US Top-10.
N2EMSINGLE-OP LOW160M dipole, center fed with window line. About 30 feet (10M) up. W1ICP transmatch at the transceiver.
N2GCASSISTED HIGHK2KQ Double L @50'
N2UUASSISTED LOWG5RV at 35 feet, fed as a random wire
N3BUDSINGLE-OP LOWHad fun just running a little CW to keep my contest speed up. Operate4d around 5.5 hours.
N3IWSINGLE-OP QRPEnd-fed 67' wire up 10 feet above ground.
N3JTASSISTED HIGHFun spotlight opening to EU 01-02z Saturday.
N3RSASSISTED LOWVery limited time available this year.
N3TESINGLE-OP LOWInverted L - 25' 2" aluminum mast with 12 42' radials and 110' wire sloping to 20' at far end
N4AKVSINGLE-OP LOW15 ft tall loaded vertical with capacitance hat
N4IWASSISTED LOWWell, this one was kind of a slog. I continually had problems finding new stations to work, probably because of my lousy 160 antenna situation. Anyway, I got good code practice copying the same callsigns over and over. I heard and worked many PVRC members. My only country was ZF5T. Thanks for the Qs.
N4TLASSISTED HIGHInverted L with a folded counterpoise.
N4TZSINGLE-OP HIGHa 9pm bedtime limits dx on 160!
N4WWASSISTED HIGHnice to hear europe saturday night. no rx antenna all qsos on vertical.
N5JJSINGLE-OP HIGHBands were very up and down. Was surprised to work Europe and JA. Prefer high band contests.
N5TJASSISTED HIGHThanks to K5TR for use of his station via remote
N5XESINGLE-OP LOWInverted-L at 35 feet
N6DWASSISTED LOWI worked barefoot into an 80m dipole......There were no contest highlights.
N6HISINGLE-OP QRPQRP "Full 5 Watts" to a 20-Foot End-Fed. Can't resist a CW contest, even if my wire is perhaps just a bit short for 160m! Tnx for your patience and the QSOs. Go Arizona Outlaws! -73- John N6HI
N6XISINGLE-OP HIGHExquisite torture listening to East Coast stations running Europe!
N8IISINGLE-OP LOW160 is full of surprises! Conditions were very poor at 23Z Saturday, nearby stations down 10-20 db from usual. At 0115Z I was called by DA2X and by 0127Z, I was running EU mixed with some NA. I added about 20 EU mults, plus a very loud P33W and 2 from African Italy with last QSO OH0Z around 0335Z. Best DX score ever in high solar activity year!
N8LRSINGLE-OP LOW135 ft dipole configured as inverted vee, vertex at 43 feet, fed with open wire ladder line.
N9JRSINGLE-OP LOW1/4 wave Inverted L at 40 feet
N9TFASSISTED LOWThat was fun! Wish I had more time to operate as conditions were great from this litte pistols perspective. One of our sons and his Fiance came down from IL to work with a wedding planner for their upcoming noptuals this coming October here in TN. I was able to grab 3.6 hours in the chair Friday night early in the evening, and 2.9 hours Saturday evening. Eu was heard and worked here both nights. Even got called by an SM in a run Saturday night local time at EU sunrise! Signals from EU were the strongest I have ever heard on this compromise low inverted L. Signlas from west coast were also strong and workable both nights, although Saturday night seemed the best for prop in all directions. Seven DX worked Friday night, two were EU. Eight DX worked Saturday night, four EU, one Africa, the rest DX both nights were Caribbean and Mexico. Twenty VE in five Prov worked, and 43 states worked. Heard KH6AQ loud Friday night, but could not break through the pile up that was always present. I was amazed at how strong all DX and west coast signals were considering my QRN level increase from power line and cattle farmers electric fences. All in all a good time for the short time in the fray. 73 Gene N9TF. Rig, K3S 100 watts to 6BTV W/160m parallel wire at feed, ~22' vertical to knee. 110' horizontal sloping down to ~17.5' at the end.
N9WEWASSISTED LOW160M Half Sloper installed in December about 20-30 ft in a pine tree running across the backyard of a city lot. No receive antenna.
ND8DSINGLE-OP LOW1/2 wave inverted vee 40' above ground at peak, 10' above ground at edges.
NE5AASSISTED LOWEnd fed wire 203 feet long 35 feet high.
NF0NSINGLE-OP LOWComprimise dual-band 80-160 dipole at 30 foot.
NF8MSINGLE-OP LOWTransmit: Inverted L up about 40 feet then horizontal, total length 135 feet. Receive: half wavelength Beverage about 8 feet off the ground.
NI0KSINGLE-OP HIGHReally enjoyed the CW, my practice sessions are paying off. My Beverage was of no help, however. Neither the Beverage nor my K9AY loop hear very well, and my GAP Voyager vertical hears better. Harrumph!
NJ3KASSISTED LOWInverted "L" at 40 feet.
NN5TSINGLE-OP LOWButternut HF-2V, 32' vertical
NO2DSINGLE-OP LOWStarted QRP but switched to Low Power - 20 watts - when my QRP signal was not making it out of Parker, CO. Antenna is a 160 foot end fed wire at 30 feet. Pete, NO2D
NO9EASSISTED HIGHLower US participation with very few stations on Saturday evening. Fantastic conditions to EU around 2-3Z. Record score and countries for me Great fun with SDC Skimmer, which is more accurate sensitive and reliable than CW Skimmer.
NS8OSINGLE-OP LOWShunt fed tower 55' feet with three band quad on top 20,15, 10
OE1CIWSINGLE-OP LOWIndoor wire in the attic with an added coil to use 160 m ... so no real DX possible but had fun anyway :)

OE8TEDSINGLE-OP HIGHTS590SG + PA, TX Ant: InV-L 20m, RX-Ant: phased verticals Surprisingly good condx to NA and JA. It was fun. Thanks for the QSOs.
OG6NASSISTED LOWThe antenna used was an inverted vee with apex at 49ft (15m) and the ends about 15 ft from the ground level.
